ZTE Axon 30 specs leak via hands-on videos on YouTube. It shows that it will come with lots of improvement over its predecessor. Recall that ZTE launched the Axon 30 Pro and the Axon 30 Ultra back in April of this year.
The standard Axon 30 was not launched, but it is surfacing online recently, it shows that its launch is imminent. Aside from that, there is something special about the Axon 30.
A teaser poster earlier revealed by the company shows that the smartphone will come with an under-display selfie camera. This is not surprising because its predecessor, the Axon 20, comes with an under-display selfie camera.
However, the under-display camera technology didn’t perform well. The pictures taken with it are a bit blurry and even the display of the device is having issues with sharpness.
Although, that is still a step in the right direction and a dream come true for users that want free screen real-estate. With the upcoming Axon 30, the company is bringing the second generation of this under-display camera tech.
ZTE Axon 30 Specs leak and hands-on
A hands-on video of the phone has surfaced on YouTube showing how huge the improvements were. First, the selfie camera location could not be seen anymore, even at close up. This is a big improvement because the older Axon 20 selfie camera is very much distinguishable.
It is said that ZTE used 400PPI on the area where the selfie camera is located, thus improving the overall display sharpness. There is also some selfie shots in the video and the photos have improved but not much. At least, it is sharper and clearer now.
The video also revealed its key specifications. It will come with a 1080 x 2460 screen resolution. The phone will be fuelled by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
It will run on the Android 11 operating system via MyOS 11 user interface. As can be seen from the video, the phone will have a quad camera at the rear. The main sensor is a 64-megapixel. The rest of the sensors isn’t revealed.
ZTE has confirmed that the ZTE Axon 30 release date is July 27 this month. We will wait till then to learn more about the phone.
