Mbah Richard is the owner of GizmoAfrica. His passion for smartphones started when he was 12 years old. When he was 12, he was usually spotted on several occasions playing with his brother’s and sister’s smartphones. As he was growing up, his parents bought a smartphone for him and that’s when his passion for smartphones escalated. He started researching smartphones to know more about them.

To an extent, his teachers at high school started coming to him requesting to know the best phone to buy. His classmates and neighbors usually come to get advice about the phones they are trying to acquire. Mbah Richard currently gets about 8 visitors a day who comes to him for a piece of new phone advice. He has helped about 120 people get the best smartphone that works for them.

One day, Richard thought to himself  “WHY DON’T I CREATE A BLOG WHERE I WOULD BE HELPING MORE PEOPLE TO BUY THE BEST SMARTPHONES?” So that’s why he created GizmoAfrica to give people the best advice on which smartphone to buy and also write news to enlighten them on the latest trends in the mobile industry. He currently runs GizmoAfrica alone but will get more hands when need be. People are already coming to his website to get updates on the latest happenings in the world of smartphones and tech in general.
