Vivo has unveiled the Vivo Y72 5G smartphone in India. Recall that Vivo had earlier unveiled the smartphone in Thailand four months ago. However, the version that is coming to India has different chipset and camera configurations.
The Thailand version uses a 64-megapixel triple rear camera but the India version uses a 48-megapixel dual rear camera. Also, the chipset that is powering the Thailand version is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 while the one in the India version is a Snapdragon 480 chipset. Aside from this, every other spec remains the same.
Vivo Y72 5G Price in India and Availability
The price of Vivo Y72 5G in India is Rs. 20,990 and it comes in only 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM option. It is available for purchase through Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj EMI Store, and the Vivo India e-store, among other channels.
It can also be picked in either Prism Magic or Slate Grey colour option.

The rear of the smartphone is a home for dual sensors. The main camera is a 48MP sensor and there is a 2MP depth sensor. Looking at the front, we can see a u-notch cut-out upfront which is where the 8MP selfie shooter is domiciled.
Still, on the front, the device comes with a 6.58inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2480 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
It also runs on FunTouch OS version 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. What should be keeping the light on is a 5,000mAh battery capacity which supports 18W fast charging support.
