Tecno Spark 8 has been silently unveiled in Nigeria. There was no pre-notice, social media post or anything from Tecno mobile but the smartphone is already selling in the Nigerian market.
It comes with a new design, having a huge camera module at the back which houses a dual camera, quad led flash and a fingerprint sensor. On the front, it has a water-drop notch cut-out for the selfie camera.
The Spark 8 comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, 480 nits brightness and 269 pixels per inch density. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, paired with 2GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There is a memory card slot should you wish to extend the storage. It runs on the Android 11 Go operating system.
At the rear, the dual camera is a 16-megapixels sensor. The other lens is just a QVGA lens. On the front, it has an 8-megapixels selfie camera which is sitting in the water-drop notch cut-out. What is fuelling the phone is a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging through a micro USB 2.0.
The smartphone is spotted selling in Nigeria offline store for ₦55,000 which translates to USD 130.
