Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime has been announced in India today being Friday 2nd September 2021. It comes as a successor to the Redmi 9 Prime unveiled last year in August 2020. It brings a punch-hole display, Helio G88 chipset, 50-megapixels main camera, 90Hz screen refresh rate, and dual-stereo speakers.

It has a similar design and specifications as the global Redmi 10 but differs in battery capacity. The Redmi 10 Prime instead of using the 5000mAh battery present in the Redmi 10, makes use of a 6000mAh battery capacity.

Specifications of Redmi 10 Prime

On the front, the smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection upfront. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Mediatek Helio G88 chipset that has a Mali-G52 GPU.

It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 user interface. The phone comes with 6GB RAM and the ability to use 2GB out of the internal storage to enhance the RAM capability. There is a micro SD card slot for storage extension up to 512GB. The internal storage of the phone is 128GB.

What is keeping the light on is a 6000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging and 9W reverse charging. It has a dimension of 161.95×75.57×9.56mm and weighs 192 grams.

Redmi 10 Prime price in India and Availability

The price of Redmi 10 Prime in India is Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant. The 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant costs Rs. 14,499. It can be bought starting September 7 via Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, Mi Studios, and major retail outlets in India.
