Realme 7i has started receiving the Realme UI 2.0 update based on the Android 11 operating system. The smartphone was announced in September last year with Android 10 OS out of the box. Now Realme is upgrading the device to the latest version of the Android operating system.
The update has an RMX2103_11_C.05 firmware version and has a file size of 801MB. It comes with an optimised gaming experience through the inbuilt Immersive mode. There is also an ability to customise Game Assistant on the smartphone. The software update also comes with an optimised permission manager that lets users choose the Allow only once option for sensitive permissions.
Further, it brings a low battery message that will allow users to quickly send a message to share their location with specific contact once their phone’s battery drops lower than 15 per cent. The company has also included the Cloud Sync feature for syncing photos available in the Private Safe vault. The update additionally brings the option to share personal hotspot with others via QR code. There is also system-level performance improvements and bug fixes.

The smartphone was launched on September 17, 2020. It comes with a 6.5inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset which has an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, paired with an Adreno 610 GPU.
It is running on Android 10 with Realme UI out of the box, assisted by 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM. The rear houses a four-camera sensor. The main camera is 64MP, there is an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
