There have been a lot of reports that Xiaomi will launch a lot of devices this month. This morning, March 22, the company officially announced an event. They call it the Spring Festival product launch event and it will be a virtual launch in China and also globally on March 29.
In that event, Xiaomi is speculated to unveil the Mi 11 series and Mi Band 6 smartwatch. Although the company hasn’t revealed the exact product that they are going to unveil that day. As per speculations, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is among the Mi 11 series that will be unveiled that day and the device has just gotten TENAA certification.
Mi 11 Lite TENAA certification
The TENAA certification of the Mi 11 Lite revealed its specs and also renders. It is certified with the M2101K9C model number but there has been another Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite version with M2101K9AG model number. The latter is speculated to be the Mi 11 Youth Edition for China while the Mi 11 Lite is for the global market.
Xiaomi normally launches the Lite version of their Mi flagships in China with the Youth Edition tag. Specification seen on the TENAA certification shows that it will come with a 6.55 inches display with a punch-hole on the upper left side. It will be the thinnest smartphone ever as it has a 6.81mm thickness.
The dimension is 160.53*75.72mm. It will be running on the Android 11 version with Xiaomi MIUI skin on top. The certification also reveals a 4,150mAh battery capacity. It will have a 33W charger in the box as per 3C certification.
Recently, the smartphone was spotted on an Italian retailer website called Tecnosell. The retailer even unboxed the phone and uploaded the video on YouTube. When the phone is taken out of the box, the plastic film pasted on top of the display reveals that this is a 4G model. It mentions some key specs, including the Snapdragon 732G chipset, 64MP triple cameras, and a 90Hz OLED display.
Mi 11 Lite is also rumored to come in a 5G avatar packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 series chipset. This might be the Youth Edition we earlier mentioned that will be exclusive to China. The design of the unboxed version corresponds with the recent renders we have seen and even with the TENAA renders. We look forward to March 29.
