It seems like Tecno is preparing to launch what seems like the Tecno Pova 3. Tecno hasn’t launched a 2022 designed smartphone, the Pova 5G and the Spark 8C are devices scheduled for 2021 debut but couldn’t make it due to the reason best known to them.
The first Tecno prepared phone of 2022 will likely be the Pova 3. Scrolling through Geekbench and FCC platform, a Tecno device with an LF7 model number was spotted. Recall that the Pova of 2020 has an LD7 model number and the 2021 Pova 2 has an LE7 model number.
With this device having an LF7 model number, it points towards the Pova 3. The smartphone on Geekbench scored 360 in the single-core test and 1226 in the multi-core test which is considered okay.
The phone is running on the Android 12 operating system and is supported by the MediaTek MT6769H chipset, likely the Helio G88 chipset. The two cores of the chip are clocking at 2.0GHz while the remaining six cores are clocking at 1.8GHz.
Supporting the chipset is 6GB RAM. Via the FCC document, 33W charging could be seen, that means it will support 33W charging but the battery capacity remains a mystery.
This is all the information known so far regarding the Tecno Pova 3, other details such as display, camera, battery capacity are still unknown.
