Realme launched the Realme 8 and the 8 Pro smartphones back in March this year. Now they are gearing up to add new smartphones to the series. It is known that they are working on the Realme 8s and the Realme 8i.

Realme 8s specifications and renders had leaked last month. Now the full specifications and renders of the Realme 8i have appeared. From the specs, the 8i is inferior to the Realme 8. Let’s take a look at the details of the phone.

Specifications of the Realme 8i

The Realme 8i will come with a 6.59-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It features a 120Hz refresh rate and slim bezels and chin. The phone has a punch hole cut out at the upper left corner of the screen.

Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset that has an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.05GHz. It will run on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 user interface.

The phone will have 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. There will be an option to expand the storage with a micro SD card slot. At the rear, it features a triple camera setup in a square module.

The main sensor is 50-megapixel, there is a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16-megapixels selfie camera.

What is keeping the light on is a 5000mAh battery capacity that may support up to 30W fast wired charging. The phone has an 8.6mm thickness and weighs 194 grams. It may come with a plastic body.

The USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and speaker grille are present on the bottom. The phone can be seen in Brown colour, but there could be other options at launch. Speaking about the launch, Realme has not made it known. It may be launched alongside the Realme 8s.
