Samsung Galaxy A20s Android 11 update has started rolling out in Malaysia. Galaxy A20s was launched back on September 24 2019, almost two years ago. When the smartphone was announced, it is running on the Android 9 Pie operating system.
The smartphone later got updated to the Android 10 operating system in May 2020 last year. Now Samsung is rolling out the Android 11 update via OneUI 3.1 to the device. The update comes with June 2021 security patch update along with cool Android 11 features.
For you to identify it, it carries the A207FXXU2CUFA firmware version. There is no information on the size of the update but you are required to update it with a strong internet connection. If you didn’t receive the update via notification drop down, you can always check Settings > Software update > Download and install.
The OneUI 3.1 based Android 11 comes with refreshed UI, updated stock apps, the ability to remove location data from images, one-time permissions, faster-performing apps, and improved memory usage.
Android 11 on the other hand offers some exciting features such as chat bubbles, new privacy settings, permissions settings, and more. The update is currently rolling out in Malaysia and will soon reach other countries soonest.

Recall that the Galaxy A20s comes with a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset which uses an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It is running on the Android 9 operating system based on the OneUI user interface.
A20s is available in three storage configurations. It comes with a 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM. There is a microSD card slot with support of up to 256GB. Photography wise, it features a 13MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP depth sensor. Selfie lovers will get an 8MP camera up front.
The phone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. What is giving the device energy is a 4000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
