Poco, which was a Xiaomi’s sub-brand has announced the release date of Poco F3 GT in India and X3 GT in Malaysia respectively. We have been hearing about the Poco F3 GT and X3 GT for a while now but the launch date was not made public.
The Poco F3 GT release date in India is July 23 at 12 PM. Five days after launching the smartphone in India, Poco will launch the Poco X3 GT in Malaysia at 20:00 GMT+8 (July 28th). It is being speculated that the F3 GT for India will be a rebadged Redmi K40 Gaming.
On the other hand, the X3 GT for Malaysia is said to be a rebadged Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. If that appears to be the case, then we can tell the specifications of the upcoming handsets.
Poco F3 GT release date in India
Starting with the F3 GT for India, we can expect to see a 6.67inches OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset which has an Octa-core processor clocked at 3.0GHz, paired with a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
Poco F3 GT is expected to run on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5, assisted by 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, 128GB 12GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, and 256GB 12GB RAM. The rear houses triple camera sensors. The main camera is 64MP, there is an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor.
On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side of the phone and what is keeping the light on is a 5065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
The Poco X3 GT has almost the same specs as the F3 GT save for the lower 5000mAh battery capacity and a
MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G chipset. We will have to wait till these release date to confirm the specs and price.
