Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 very soon. It has been on the rumour mill for quite a long time now. The company has not revealed the marketing name of the next Mi Mix smartphone but speculations are calling it the Mi Mix 4.

A new report from a reputable tipster revealed that the acclaimed Mi Mix 4 will come with an under-display selfie camera. If it turns out to be true, then this will make it the first smartphone from Xiaomi to arrive with an under-display camera.

The tipster also said that the camera will not be visible to the human’s naked eye. Xiaomi is trying to offer a full free viewing experience with the smartphone. In the previous leak made by the same tipster regarding the Mi Mix 4, he mentioned that the smartphone will come with a curved display.

It will likely be an OLED display that is specifically made for the Mi Mix 4. It will offer a unique viewing experience. Currently, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra remains the most powerful smartphone from Xiaomi.

It sports a 6.81-inch OLED curved display with a Quad HD+ resolution. The new Mi Mix 4 is said to come with a lesser Full HD+ resolution but will be more costly than the Mi 11 Ultra. It has been speculated that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship chipset.

However, with the recent launch of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, we may see the Mi Mix 4 being driven by the chipset. Regarding the battery capacity, it is said that it will have a 4500mAh battery capacity with 120W fast charging and 80W wireless charging.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will likely run on MIUI 13 user interface. The release date of the Mi Mix 4 is unknown for now but it may go official next month when Xiaomi is expected to unveil a handful of products. Some products expected to be unveiled are the Mi Mix 4, MIUI 13, M1 Pad 5 series, and the Mi CC1.
