Xiaomi has launched the more affordable variant of the Mi 11 in India today being Tuesday 22 June 2021. The more affordable variant is called the Mi 11 Lite. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has earlier been unveiled globally in March this year.
Xiaomi also launched the 5G version of the smartphone. However, the version that is being launched in India today is the 4G version. Xiaomi India chief, Manu Kumar Jain, has said that they have plans to bring the 5G version.
He stated during the virtual launch event that they can bring the 5G version to the Indian market if the users ask for it. Let’s take a look at the pricing and specifications of the phone.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite Price in India
The Mi 11 Lite is priced at Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 23,999. Pre-order for the smartphone is starting on June 25 at 12 PM in India through Flipkart and Mi.com.
The smartphone will go on sale on June 28 across all reputable retail outlets in India. Xiaomi also stated that there will be Rs. 1,500 discount for those who will pre-order the device on June 25.
Specifications and features
The Mi 11 Lite comes with a vertical camera module at the rear which houses triple camera sensors. On the front, it has a punch-hole cut-out housing the selfie camera. The display of the smartphone is a 6.55inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Under the hood, it is fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC. The chipset uses an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and it is an 8nm chipset. Graphics or gaming is handled by the capable Adreno 618 GPU.
The Mi 11 Lite is running on the Android 11 operating system. It comes in two storage options which are 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM. There is a micro SD card slot for storage expansion.
Going to the rear, the smartphone is boasting of a triple camera. The main sensor is 64MP, there is an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro. Mi 11 Lite also has a dual led flash at the rear and it can record in 4k@30fps maximum.
Upfront, the device has a single camera. The sensor is 16MP which has an f/2.5 aperture. The front camera makes use of the screen flash in low light. What is keeping the light on is a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Other features of the device include a 4G network, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, infrared and USB Type-C 2.0. Sensors include accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Finally, it measures 160.5 x 75.7 x 6.8 mm and weighs 157 grams.
