Although sharp is yet to reveal the price of this smartphone. Of course, with all these features, the price must be on the high side. Let’s take a detailed look at the smartphone.
Sharp Aquos R6 Specifications and features
The Sharp Aquos R6 is the first smartphone to come with a 1-inch image CMOS sensor. Sharp partnered with Leica to make this possible. The interesting feature of the 1-inch image sensor is that it has a low-light autofocus feature that uses a laser to enable high-speed autofocus in low-light condition.
That is why it is five times bigger than the sensor on the Aquos R5G. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the Aquos R6 ensures better security. Its authentication feature is 11 times wider than the older model. Specifications wise, the smartphone comes with a 6.6 inches WUXGA + Pro IGZO OLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2730 pixels.
It also features a massive 240Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2000 nits. The display features HDR 10 support with an image quality of 20 million. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. The chipset is assisted by 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is a Micro-SD slot where you can extend the storage up to 1TB.
What is keeping the light on is a 5000mAh battery with Intelligent Charge 2.0 support. The large image sensor is based on 20-mega pixels. Sharp Aquos R6 also features an IP68 rating and comes with an Android 11 operating system out of the box.
