For the past few weeks, we have been seeing a Samsung smartphone with an SM-M215G model number being listed on some authoritative websites. The smartphone was on BIS which shows that it could be launched in India.

We also see the device on Google Play supported device list which revealed the moniker of the phone. As per Google supported device list platform, it revealed that the Samsung phone with SM-M215G is Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition.

The device also appeared on the company official device support list website but didn’t reveal much about the phone. Now in the latest report, the smartphone which is listed as the Galaxy M21 Prime Edition has been changed to Galaxy M21 2021 edition.

Google support device list shows that the moniker of the Samsung phone with SM-M215G has been changed from M21 Prime Edition to M21 2021 Edition. This shows that there will longer be an M21 Prime Edition again but M21 2021.

None of the specs of the phone is known yet but being an updated 2021 M21, we can expect to have a lot of similarities with the 2020 M21. Below are the specifications of the 2020 Galaxy M21.

Samsung Galaxy M21 specs

The 2020 Galaxy M21 comes with a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is running on the Android 10 operating system based on OneUI 2.0 skin. Under the hood, it is fuelled by the Exynos 9611 chipset, paired with a Mali-G72MP3 GPU.

Galaxy M21 has 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. It also has a Micro-SD slot for storage expansion. At the rear, it has a triple camera setup. The main camera is a 64-mega pixel, the ultra-wide is an 8-mega pixel and the depth sensor is a 5-mega pixel lens.

On the front, it uses a 20-mega pixel selfie shooter. What is keeping the light on is a 6000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. Other features include a Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
