In today’s Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds. It is succeeding the Galaxy Buds of last year. The latest Galaxy Buds 2 comes with a glossy finish with silicon tips.
The charging case has a dual-tone design with the inside of the case having the same paint job as the earbuds. A dynamic 2-way speaker comes with each earbud and it is said to deliver crisp, clear high notes and bass.
There is also an active noise cancellation feature that is said can cancel 98 per cent of background noise. It features different levels of ambient sound. With machine learning and three mics, the earbuds are said to offer the best call experience possible.
The battery of the earbuds can power it for 5 hours with active noise cancellation on. With the case, battery life can be extended up to 15 hours. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 can be paired with the Buds App. You can also configure settings and install updates with the Galaxy Buds app.
As for pricing, the Galaxy Buds 2 is priced at $149.99 USD. It can be purchased starting August 27. Colour options include White, Graphite, Olive and Lavender.
