Samsung Galaxy A12 has been launched in India. Don’t be confused with this model, it comes with a different chipset and a higher RAM configuration. Yes, Samsung had launched the Galaxy A12 in India in February this year but the model comes with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.
The company has decided to relaunch the smartphone again with a different chipset and bigger RAM configuration. This Galaxy A12 comes with Samsung’s own chipset which is Exynos. The same smartphone had been launched in Russia as the Galaxy A12 Nacho.
So the Galaxy A12 Exynos is priced at Rs. 13,999 ($188) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and Rs. 16,499 ($222) for the 6GB + 128GB variant. It is available in Black, Blue, and White colours. It can be bought via Samsung’s India website.

The new Galaxy A12 with Exynos version comes with a 6.5-inches TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the Exynos 850 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that is expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB).
It is running on the Android 11 operating system with OneUI Core user interface. The quad-camera at the rear include a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
On the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and what is keeping the light on is a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. It measures 164×75.8×8.9mm and weighs 205 grams.
Other features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
