Google I/O event finally took place yesterday. The event is where Google usually announces its products and new operating system. Google I/O event is repeated year and after year. The latest event for 2021 took place yesterday. One of the major things unveiled yesterday is the new Android 12 operating system. Android 12 will be the successor to the Android 11 unveiled last year.
Now after the company unveiled the Android 12 operating system, a lot of smartphone manufacturers has taken the beta version to push to their flagship or high-end devices. Realme is one of them. Realme has announced that its flagship Realme GT will be receiving the Android 12 beta version. Realme GT is currently only available in China so users in China should check their phone for the update.
Realme also plans to unveil the Realme GT globally this month. They said that the Android 12 Beta 1 program will ship with the global version of the Realme GT. The beta version for the global Realme GT will be released in the Realme Community within this month.
Remember that the beta build is not the final version, some features may be missing or may not work. The Realme GT was launched on March 4th in China. It comes with a 6.43inches Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset which has an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.84GHz, paired with an Adreno 660 GPU.
It is running on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0, assisted by 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM. The rear houses triple camera sensors. The main camera is 64MP, there is an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
A fingerprint scanner is located under the display and what is keeping the light on is a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
