Poco has officially confirmed that the Poco F3 GT will be launched in India. Recall that in May, Poco revealed that its Poco F3 GT handset will be unveiled in the third quarter of the year. Now we are in the third quarter already, so Poco has started teasing the smartphone via its social media handles.
The company posted a teaser that confirms that it will be launching in India. The teaser also exposes its similarity with the Redmi K40 Gaming. We have heard that the F3 GT will be a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming and it has started to look like it’s true.
Poco F3 GT expected specs in India
Since it will be a rebadged Redmi K40 Gaming, we can assume that it will come with a 6.67inches OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset which has an Octa-core processor clocked at 3.0GHz, paired with a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
Poco F3 GT is expected to run on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5, assisted by 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, 128GB 12GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, and 256GB 12GB RAM. The rear houses triple camera sensors. The main camera is 64MP, there is an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
The fingerprint scanner is located on the side of the phone and what is keeping the light on is a 5065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
