The latest report reveals that Nothing brand will unveil its first-ever smartphone in April 2022. Nothing is a new brand headed by Carl Pei, a co-founder of OnePlus. He left the company last year to form his own which he called Nothing.
He later launched his first product which is earbuds dubbed Nothing Ear 1. Now in 2022, they are stepping into the smartphone market. This is not surprising though because the company purchased an essential smartphone company last year which raised different reactions that nothing could launch its first phone.
The company has also partnered with Qualcomm, suggesting that the phone will use a Qualcomm processor. As of now, nothing is known about the phone. Reports have it that the CEO, Carl Pei, took the phone prototype to the MWC in Barcelona.
He reportedly showed it to the industry executives at MWC, including Qualcomm’s chief, Cristiano Amon. The phone is said to have a similar design language and “elements of transparency” as Nothing’s first product – the Ear (1).
