Micromax is a tech India company that also makes smartphone. After many years of absence in the smartphone industry, they returned last year with the launch of Micromax in 1b and Micromax IN Note 1. To rival the Chinese brand, they released another smartphone in March this year dubbed Micromax IN 1.
Now the latest report is that Micromax is planning to launch another budget-friendly smartphone. A Micromax smartphone with the moniker “Micromax IN 2C” has been spotted on the benchmarking platform, Geekbench.
The GeekBench listing shows that the smartphone scored 347 in the single-core test and 1127 in the multi-core test. It also revealed that the Micromax IN 2C will be running on the Android 11 operating system.
It will be fuelled by the Unisoc T610 chipset with a clock speed of 1.82GHz. The chipset will also be accompanied and assisted by 4GB RAM. The IN 2C could be priced lower than the IN 1, IN 1b, and IN Note 1.
This is because the IN 1b and IN 1 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G35 & G80 chipset respectively. The IN Note 1 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. Unisoc T610 is way lower than the Helio G35, G80, and G85. The Micromax IN 2C when released could be competing in the entry-level segment.
Specs of Micromax IN 1b
The IN 2C could share similar specifications with the IN 1b, apart from the chipset. Micromax IN 1b comes with a 6.52-inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It runs on Android 10 Go Edition and fuelled by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. The storage options for the phone include 32GB ROM + 2GB RAM and 64GB ROM + 4GB RAM.
There is a Micro-SD slot available. It comes with a 13-mega pixel main camera and a 2-mega pixel depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8-mega pixel selfie shooter. A fingerprint scanner is mounted at the rear and what is keeping the light on is a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
