Oppo has launched the A74 5G in India today, April 20. Recall that the Oppo A74 5G has debuted first in Thailand on April 5 with a 90Hz refresh rate and 5000mAh. This is the same smartphone that is arriving in India today, with no differences.

Oppo A74 5G price in India is Rs 17,990 and it comes in only one storage configuration which is 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. The A74 5G will be available from Amazon.in and offline stores starting from April 26. It is available in Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple colours.
Specifications and features
The Oppo A74 5G comes with a rectangular camera module at the rear which houses quad-camera sensors. On the front, it has a punch-hole cut-out housing the selfie camera. The display of the smartphone is a 6.5inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Under the hood, it is fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. This makes it the first Oppo smartphone with 5G in India. The chipset uses an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and it is an 8nm chipset. Graphics or gaming is handled by the capable Adreno 619 GPU.
The Oppo A74 5G is running on the Android 11 operating system. It comes in only one storage option which is 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. There is a micro SD card slot for storage expansion. Going to the rear, the smartphone is boasting of a quad camera. The main sensor is 48MP, there is an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro.
A74 5G also has a single led flash at the rear and it can record in 1080p@30fps maximum. Upfront, the device has a single camera. The sensor is 16MP which has an f/2.0 aperture. The front camera makes use of the screen flash in low light.
What is keeping the light on is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Other features of the device include 5G network, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. Sensors include accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Finally, it measures 162.9 x 74.7 x 8.4 mm and weighs 190 grams.
