HP Spectre x360 14 convertible (2-in-1) laptop has launched in the Indian market. It comes with a 14-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 90.33 percent screen-to-body ratio, and features an adaptive battery optimiser.

The laptop also comes with an optional OLED display with Eyesafe protection that minimises eye strain caused by blue light. Under the hood, the HP Spectre x360 14 is powered by 11th-Gen Intel Core processors paired with Intel Iris Xe graphics. HP claims that the convertible can last for up to 17 hours on a full charge.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support. You also get Thunderbolt 4 support with the premium machine. Other features include camera shutter button, HP Command Center, a mute mic, as well as a fingerprint reader. HP Spectre x360 14 weighs 1.36kg.

HP Spectre x360 14 has a gem-cut and dual chamfer angular design achieved with aluminium CNC machining. It supports HP SureView Reflect Privacy Screen that claims to ensure 2x more effective privacy and keep private content from prying eyes.

HP says that the keyboard scissors are made from natural, renewable material such as agricultural waste like typical straw, beet pulp, and household waste. One keyboard is said to utilise 14.46 grams organic, renewable feedstock and save over 1,200kg on CO2 emissions.

HP Spectre x360 14 price in India

The new HP Spectre x360 14 is priced in India starting at Rs. 1,19,999. It is available via HP online store, Amazon, HP World stores, and other large-format retail stores. It has been made available in Nightfall Black with Copper Luxe accents, and Poseidon Blue with Pale Brass accents.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro specs and price

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro has been announced in India today September 3 2021. It is a business-centric laptop and also more affordable than the ThinkPad Carbon series from Lenovo. It features AMD’s 11th generation processors likewise AMD’s Ryzen chipsets.

The starting price of the IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro in India is Rs. 77,990 and it can be purchased via Lenovo’s website and other e-commerce websites. The IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro laptop comes in two screen sizes.

There is one with 14-inch size and the other with 16-inch size. The one with 14-inch uses 2.2K IPS anti-glare display with 300 nits brightness which is bright enough to view under direct sunlight as per the company.

The one with a 16-inch display size has WQXGA IPS anti-glare display and higher 350 nits brightness. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% sRGB gamut support. The 14-inch variant weighs around 1.38kg and is 17.9mm thick.

The 16-inch version, on the other hand, is 18.4 mm thick and weighs around 1.9 kg. All of these screen sizes have very slim bezels. The laptop comes with two front-facing speakers.

The two speakers have Dolby Atmos audio and you can control the audio via the Dolby Access app. Like we mentioned earlier, the laptop comes in two variants. There is one with Intel’s 11th Generation Core i7 processor and one with AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800H chips.

There are three available graphics processors which include Nvidia’s GeForce chips, Intel’s integrated Xe graphics and AMD’s Radeon chips. They come with a large trackpad and narrow function keys.

The laptop can be purchased in only one colour option which is Storm Grey. Like we said earlier, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro is priced at Rs 77,990 and can be purchased via Lenovo’s website and other e-commerce websites.

Efficient heat dissipation is present with the help of dual heat pipes which enhances the overall system efficiency and enhances cooling. A laptop without a decent display doesn’t make sense, so the company added a 15.6-inch display with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution.

Teclast Tbolt 20 Pro with its metal-framed body weighs 1.8kg, and the touchpad measures 133 x 87 millimetres. The presence of a 55Wh battery offers a decent long-lasting battery backup. Beautifully design laptop is available only in space grey colour. There are four speakers for richer and clearer audio while listening to music and watching videos.

Teclast Tbolt 20 pro offers flawless connectivity with its 2x USB 3.0 and 2x Type-C ports. These can easily manage all your needs as ports support data transfer, PD fast charging and DisplayPort video audio output. Samsung Galaxy Book Fold 17 may be a foldable laptop from Samsung

It is reported that Samsung is aiming to launch a foldable laptop. The laptop is said to be called Galaxy Book Fold 17. The 17 in the name indicates that it will have a 17-inch display when it is unfolded. This is coming from a popular tipster Ice Universe and he said that it is already in the making.

He posted a screenshot of a webpage with the Galaxy Book Fold 17 name. It is likely that he got the name from a Samsung webpage which is not yet accessible to the public. The tipster didn’t share the specifications of the laptop, turns out it is not yet available to him.

Samsung seems to have fun making foldables and they are now taking it a notch higher by making a laptop that folds in and out. Recall that Samsung showcased a lot of foldables devices in may during the Society for Information Display 2021 (SID 2021).

They also showcased foldable laptop on Korea Display Industry Exhibition 2021. All the foldable laptop they showcased in that event has 17.3-inch screens with 4:3 aspect ratio. Samsung said that you can use it vertically like a tablet.

If it is folded in an ‘L’ shape, you have a 13-inch display facing you while the rest of the display are siting flat on a surface acting as an input with a large trackpad and touchscreen keyboard.

The concept device they showcased also has under-display camera. It is unclear if the Samsung Galaxy Book Fold 17 foldable laptop is real or not. If it is real, we expect to come across it in the future.
