So we started hearing about the Google Pixel Fold this week. According to reports, the Pixel Fold is the upcoming foldable smartphone from Google.
The device was spotted in the camera application that comes with the Android 12 beta 4. It is codenamed ‘Passport’ and speculations are saying that it will be announced this fall.
However, the latest report has refuted this claim. 91mobiles has said that Yogesh Brar, who is a tipster, told them that the Pixel Fold launch is being delayed but Google will preview the device on their Pixel 6 series launch event.
The launch date of the Pixel 6 series is unknown for now as Google has not yet announced the launch date. However, following the Google launch timeline, the phone may debut in September or latest October.
Google has actually announced the Pixel 6 series smartphone earlier this month. They revealed its unique design and some key specs. It will be the first smartphone from Google to come with an in-house chipset.
The chipset is called the Tensor chipset and it will come with lots of improvement in photography and AI. They also revealed that the Pixel 6 will have a 6.4-inch FHD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Pixel 6 Pro will have a bigger 6.7-inch curved screen with QHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
