Airpods Max goes official with H1 chip & active noise cancellation

Apple has announced a new set of headphones dubbed the Airpods Max. This is the first from its kind from Apple as they have been known for releasing Airpods and sound speakers. Apple claimed that this new Airpods Max brings the magic of Airpods to an over-ear design. The Airpods Max comes with an H1 chipset with an advanced software to power computational audio for a breakthrough listening experience. It also comes with an adaptive equalizer, Noise cancellation, Transparency mode and spatial audio.

During the presentation, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing – Greg Joswiak said “AirPods are the most popular headphones in the world, beloved for their effortless setup, incredible sound quality, and iconic design. With AirPods Max, we are bringing that magical AirPods experience to a stunning over-ear design with high-fidelity audio,”.

The device comes with a breathable knit mesh canopy, distributing weight to reduce on-head pressure. From the canopy to the ear cushions, every part of AirPods Max is carefully crafted to provide exceptional acoustic performance for each user. The breathable knit mesh canopy, spanning the headband, is made to distribute weight and reduce on-head pressure.

The stainless-steel headband frame provides strength, flexibility, and comfort for a wide variety of head shapes and sizes. Telescoping headband arms smoothly extend and stay in place to maintain the desired fit. The Digital Crown provides precise volume control and the ability to play or pause audio, skip tracks, answer or end phone calls, and activate Siri. The noise control button easily switches between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode.

Airpods Max Price and Availability

Apple said the Airpods Max will cost $549 and you can start ordering from today December 8 on apple.com and in the Apple Store app in the US and more than 25 other countries and regions. It will begin shipping on Tuesday, December 15. You can get it in different colors which are space grey, silver, sky blue, green, and pink.
